FOREX - the Foreign Exchange Market [FX] refers to a system where trade of currencies is transacted between companies, banks, businesses, and governments around the world. Cash, stocks, and currency is all traded through the foreign exchange markets.

Financial market transactions are completed through brokers, and banks, and unfortunately is an area where scams are common. FOREX is not available in all banks or all financial centers. FOREX is regarded as a specialized trading facility. Foreign companies and individuals are enticing unwitting investors via online marketing to faciliate transactions that by regulation must be transacted via a broker or a company with direct participation involved in foreign exchanges.

FOREX Scams are Global

FOREX is seen by many as a quick way to make a profit, and many do not fully investigate the party offering to facilitate the transaction. This generally leads to the investor losing all their money, without trace to the so-called scam broker.

Since FOREX scams are so common, there is little chance that even legal channels will get your investment back. Most countries have an online fraud notification website that lists all the known fraud scams - including FOREX. It is up to you to check out the credentials of any company stating they are involved in FOREX trading. Also check legitimate brokers to make sure they are permitted to do business in your country.

Local or national banks are the most reliable source to participate in FOREX trading. They have trained, licensed brokers who complete transactions for a standard commission, just like share trading.

FOREX Trading Software

Another common type of FOREX scam is FOREX Trading Software that supposedly helps you make trades with greater certaintly of profit. There are some very good legitimate trading programs, but again, only purchase such a program through or on the advice of a trusted financial broker or your bank. And always take lessons in FOREX trading, the FX markets are a specialized investment arena.
